Sounds like ‘Snakes on a Plane” but actually ‘Rattlesnake in a Garage’ is a common occurrence in our neighborhoods.
With Winter approaching, rattlesnakes are looking for comfortable warm places to hibernate and garages are very appealing to them. NOW is the time you need to keep those garage doors closed and FIX any openings, especially at the corners and SEAL the center concrete seam.
Recently we’ve had a slew of rattlesnake removal calls, most entered via the openings just mentioned. See photos for clear visuals and if you need a handyman referral to do the work just let me know and I can direct you to the right professional.
If you don’t heed my advice and do find an unfriendly reptile slithering around your garage, feel free to call as we do rattlesnake (catch & release) removal.
